What we do

QuoVia develops practical systems in four connected areas:

  • Care and healthcare support tools
  • PGB administration and workflow software
  • WordPress plugins and custom development
  • Privacy-first and locally controlled digital systems

Across all of this work, the focus remains the same: reduce complexity, improve oversight, and help people stay in control of the systems they rely on.

Care and healthcare tools

Part of QuoVia’s work comes directly from lived experience. Alongside software development, Jean Paul Jaspers coordinates care for his husband through the Dutch PGB system, including the administration and organisation of caregivers. In the Netherlands, a PGB allows the care recipient or representative to arrange care personally and manage the related administration, depending on the care framework involved.

That experience led to the development of a dedicated application to support PGB administration and recurring care workflows. QuoVia is also developing MedicineVest, a wearable support product for patients who rely on portable infusion pumps for medication.

Plugins and software

QuoVia has a long background in modular software development, including WordPress plugins, APIs, multi-site systems, backend tooling, and AI-assisted software workflows. We build with clear separation of concerns, reusable components, and long-term maintainability in mind.

Our software is intended to solve practical problems without creating unnecessary technical overhead. The goal is always robust, readable systems that are easy to extend and hard to break.

Why QuoVia

QuoVia combines deep technical experience with direct involvement in real care and administrative workflows. That combination gives our work a practical foundation: the tools we build are not based only on ideas, but also on day-to-day realities.

We are especially interested in privacy-first design, local control, and software that avoids unnecessary dependence on opaque platforms. For more about the principles behind this work, see the Mission Statement page.

About Jean Paul

QuoVia is owned and operated by software engineer Jean Paul Jaspers. Over the past four decades, he has worked across CAD/CAM systems, web architecture, plugin development, blockchain, and AI, with a consistent focus on modular design, DRY principles, and maintainable software structures.
